Yay, Wednesday! Calculus is still destroying me, but what else is new. Catherine officially sent off the rest of the announcements this morning. Fight of Biblical proportions

The following two things are true:

1) Catherine and I finished our wedding announcement mailing stuff today.

2) We have officially received our first item from our wedding registry: A Rice Cooker.

Hello everybody! Happy week beginning. I'm actually updating on time today! (Insert applause) Catherine and I sent out the first batch of announcements, so be on the lookout for those. They'll be arriving at your doorstep within the next day or so. The second batch (we ran out of our inserts for one of our registries) will be out by tomorrow or wednesday. Be excited.

He's got the fever!

Sorry for the late post again. I got myself started on a game called "Dungeon Fighter Online". It was foolish of me on account of it being an arcade type, side-scrolling fighter and it was free. Curses. I also had to go with my fiancee to help her get through a screening of Twilight for a big thing that is going on with the theater's presentation of "Eclipse" next weekend. Anyways, it was fun to be the only people in the theater. We got to heckle the horrible acting for the whole time. It was awesome!

Anyways, also today (Saturday) Catherine and I went garage sale-ing and found some totally awesome finds. We found a Dryer for $30, two totally comfy pillows for a buck a piece, a stuffed whale for a dime and a freaking sweet Toy Story throw blanket for 50 cents! It was a wonderful day. Also, our apartment is looking a lot more like a place that we actually live in! It's awesome!

Sorry for the lack of updating. Psych Season 2 has been eating my time. That and moving into our new place. Yay for time death! Wooooooo!

Let Moses begin!

Sorry for the lack of update yesterday. My (soon-to-be) sister in law's birthday was yesterday and there was a great deal of traveling and enjoyment to be had. By the time I got back to Rexburg I didn't have my computer on me so I just had to push this off until today. However, yesterday was pretty dang awesome. We (Catherine's family and I) went down to a place called Johnny Carino's (Like Olive Garden, but better... except for the bread sticks. Olive Garden still has them on that) and then went and saw Toy Story 3. For all of those out there that have not seen it I highly recommend that you take the time and see it. It was marvelous. Lots of little fun things hidden here and there for all to see. (a serious high five for the person that finds and or recognizes Totoro) It was a thoroughly enjoyable movie.

Also, this just in: I'm NOT excited for the Smurfs movie.

Hey! They're fancier!

Sorry for the delay on updating. You know how things go. Anyways, as for events as of recent: Catherine accidentally slammed her finger in her car door and it ended up in us going to a clinic to make sure there wasn't a need for stitches or anything like that. The doctor pretty much told us to just wrap it up and put a band-aid on it. Good ol' Idaho-tough folks. Gotta love 'em. Umm... other than that, I'm still doing really well (relatively) in my Calculus class as I currently have a B in it. (I am not doing "B" work, honest). I love me some good grading curves.

Yup... that's it over here! I'm off to enjoy these last 4.8 weeks of bachelor-dom. I'm pumped!

Thursday has come and passed. Life moves on as Catherine and I have officially moved some furniture into our apartment that we can sit on (namely 2 couches) and we now can get the rest of the stuff in whenever we actually feel like living there. We have a table, an entertainment center, a microwave, and an end table. Life is marvelous.

Umm... yeah... If you haven't checked out the E3 stuff then you need to get on that posthaste. It's amazing.

Car troubles and gangsta-ness

Nothing huge happened as of late. I bombed a Calc test, cleaned the temple and cleaned our new place. It's pretty awesome, actually. Catherine and I got to go through our new place and tidy up a bit. It's looking pretty nice.

Umm... if you haven't already heard, E3 happened these last 2 days and Nintendo let out the big guns: New Kirby, New Legend of Zelda, New Metroid, New Kid Icarus, New Donkey Kong Country, Remake of Goldeneye 007 and New Professor Layton. Life is wonderful for the land of video gaming and I will love to be a part of it (have I the requisite funds). Will I get them? Survey says: Fat chance. Yay life of a newlywed! Check it out, have you the time. It's cool stuff.

Confusing tongues

Hello everybody (all like... 12 of you). Welcome to another fun-filled week of Ulterior Motives. Things that have changed over the weekend are few, but awesome. Catherine and I found a place to live! Also, due to this new place, we will not be doing our neat "assistant managing" deal that we had going on. Although, in the end this is probably better. It's a sweet deal that we have going on and it means that we get to stay in Catherine's ward. I'm kind of excited for it. Brother Dresen threatens me to be the Gospel Doctrine teacher. I'm ok with that. Anyways. That's that.

Also, in awesome news, we got our announcements today! They'll be sent out in the near future so be on the lookout! It's gonna be big!

Happy weekend, fools! Things have been finalized for housing for Catherine and I. Life is good and I am very excited for that to be done with. Next up, getting my job.

Plans for the ladies

Greetings! I found out that Blogger has this cool new set up and design deal that I decided to check out. I kinda like it.

Anyways! For today, I have had a pretty sweet day. Theater went well and classes were a breeze. Life is good. Especially because I have a B in my calculus class (seriously, that's amazing. I don;t know how I'm doing it!) So... there you go!

Yay Wednesday! All was well today. Catherine and I made cheesecake brownies (commonly referred to as Zebra brownies at the Orme residence) except that we put junior caramels in them. Lemme tell ya, delicious. So dang good.

Hey everybody! 2nd block started today for BYU-I and it has already proven to be a pretty heavy workload. I'm getting ready to buckle down and get this going pretty quick. The time is drawing close until I'm done with this semester. Time to make it count! Wish me luck!

Bird troubles

Happy Monday, folks! Nothing happier to start a day like today than realizing that Quiz you had to do for your Math class over the weekend hadn't even been started. Woooo! Yeah, fun as always. Umm... for those of you that have been listening to my personal life as of late, you might have heard that Catherine and I have found a really good candidate for a place to live when we get married in 44 days. It's kind of really exciting, to be honest! It's gonna be my first place without a bunch of male roommates. Kind of crazy... oh yeah. AND I'LL BE MARRIED!!! Oh man! Well... there you go. Yay, Monday!

Too big for the boat

Happy weekend folks. This has been an interesting day for me. Stressful in the getting done of a bunch of projects and having a lot of critiquing on my choices for the wedding day. It was not the best of experiences, but it was definitely informative. It has been fun, in that kind of "fun" way. You know the drill.

Anyways, life moves on and things are looking good for the future. 47 beautiful days until I'm a married man. I'm excited. See Y'all on Monday!

In the beginning...

Hooray for Thursday! Tomorrow, one of my good friends (Joel Jensen) is heading up here fro a lunch fun-timey thing. It'll be grand. Also, in cool news, I ordered my tux today. Yay! It took (and I do not kid you on this) a grand total of 8 minutes. I came in at 2 and left at 2:08. Done deal. I'm so glad I never had to go dress shopping. Awesome!

In other ridiculous news, I scanned this picture using a different scanning program (Picasa) and instead of making my picture the regular small size it usually is, it made it 5.5 Mb. So... holy crap. Sorry if this takes a year to load up for y'all. Not all my fault.

False Alarm

So... remember when I said that I was going to start the Catholic Bible book today? Yeah... never got to scan those today. My day consisted of classes, going to Idaho Falls, Registering at Bed Bath and Beyond, eating at Red Robin and watching an episode of Fruits Basket. So... 10,000 pardons. You'll have to wait another day for the Bible book.
